Vibe Code vs Agentfy

Vibe Code relays your Claude Code session to your phone so you can continue it remotely. Agentfy just watches and alerts — native iOS status, no wrapper, no relay.

Vibe Code (also seen as Vicoa) is a CLI-wrapper-plus-mobile-app: you run its command in place of claude, and it relays your session to a mobile app so you can continue working remotely. It's a managed remote-control experience with account-based sign-in. Agentfy doesn't replace the claude command or relay your session — it reads Claude Code's hook events and turns them into push notifications, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island updates. You can't continue a session in Agentfy; it's there to tell you when one needs you.

  • Two-way interaction, not just alerts

Which should you choose?

Choose Agentfy if…

You want to keep running Claude Code exactly as you do now and just get native, glanceable alerts when an agent needs you — without routing your sessions through another tool.

Choose Vibe Code if…

You want to actively continue and reply to Claude Code sessions from your phone and don't mind starting them through a wrapper.

How Agentfy works

  1. Download Agentfy and grab your account token.
  2. Install the open-source Agentfy plugin in Claude Code: claude plugin marketplace add ibrillantes/claude-code-plugin, then claude plugin install agentfy@agentfy --config api_token=<YOUR_TOKEN>, then /reload-plugins. It registers an Agentfy webhook in your hooks and stores your token in your OS keychain — no CLI wrapper, no daemon. (Older Claude Code? Paste the one-line setup prompt instead.)
  3. Whenever an agent starts, needs permission, finishes, or errors, your iPhone gets a push notification, a lock-screen Live Activity, and a Dynamic Island update — in real time.

Vibe Code vs Agentfy — FAQ

Is Agentfy a Vibe Code alternative?+
For the monitoring side, yes. Vibe Code relays your Claude Code session so you can continue it from your phone; Agentfy only sends status so you know when to return to your desk. If you don't actually need to type from your phone — you just want to stop babysitting the terminal — Agentfy is lighter and keeps you on the native claude command.
Do I have to run a wrapper command with Agentfy like with Vibe Code?+
No. Vibe Code asks you to run its command in place of claude. Agentfy uses Claude Code hooks, so you keep running native claude and just install the Agentfy plugin (or paste the one-line setup prompt on older Claude Code). Nothing wraps or intercepts your session.
Can I keep working in a session from Agentfy?+
No — Agentfy is monitoring-only. It tells you when an agent finishes, errors, or needs permission, but you continue the session at your own keyboard. Vibe Code is the one built for continuing sessions remotely.
